Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

1. Who We Are

The Consultation Club is operated by Brendan Blaine Palmer ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: support@theconsultationclub.com

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information when you register or use our platform:

• Name and email address (on registration) • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details) • Usage data (pages visited, content accessed, login timestamps) • Communications you send us directly

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your member account • Process payments and manage your subscription • Deliver content and platform features based on your membership tier • Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices) • Send occasional membership-related updates (you may opt out at any time) • Improve and maintain our platform

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to fulfil your membership and deliver services you have paid for. • Legitimate interests — to maintain platform security and improve our service. • Consent — for any marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you make a payment, your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We store only a record of your transaction, subscription status, and Stripe customer reference for billing purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing • Our hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon) — under data processing agreements • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies — only when required by law

We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party marketers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g. billing records, which we retain for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements).

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") • Object to or restrict certain processing • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@theconsultationclub.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and platform functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in and use the platform.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and restricted access to production systems.

However, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11. Children

The Consultation Club is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered members of significant changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
